This 14-day Round Tour is the most comprehensive way to experience everything Sri Lanka has to offer. Your journey takes you through the island’s most iconic destinations, starting with the ancient kingdoms of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, and the stunning Sigiriya Rock Fortress. From there, you will travel into the cool, misty climates of the central highlands to explore Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Ella via a famously scenic train ride. The final leg of your adventure brings you down to the southern coast for thrilling wildlife safaris in Yala, whale watching in Mirissa, and a city tour of the bustling capital, Colombo.

When you arrive at the Colombo Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your chauffeur from Ancient Space tours. You will then take a short transfer to your hotel in the coastal town of Negombo. Spend the rest of the day settling in and resting after your flight before your overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will travel to Dambulla, stopping along the way to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. In the afternoon, you will head out on an exciting jeep safari through Minneriya National Park, famous for its large gatherings of wild elephants. You will check into your hotel in Dambulla for the night.
Your day is dedicated to exploring the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s most historic capitals. You will visit sacred and culturally significant sites, including the Sri Maha Bodhi tree and the towering Ruwanwelisaya pagoda. You will spend the night at your hotel in Anuradhapura.
ou will travel to the ancient Kingdom of Polonnaruwa, another incredibly preserved UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will spend the day exploring its ancient ruins, monuments, and intricate stone carvings. After a full day of historical exploration, you will return to Anuradhapura for another overnight stay.
Start your morning by climbing the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress to take in the panoramic views. As you travel toward Kandy, you will stop at a Matale Spice Garden to learn about the island's famous herbs and spices. You will check into your hotel in Kandy and rest for the night.
Your morning in Kandy features visits to the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, a local gem museum, and a silk factory. You will also take a scenic walk through the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. In the evening, you will watch a traditional Kandy cultural dance performance before returning to your hotel.
As you travel into the cooler climate of Nuwara Eliya, you will visit the historic Embekke, Gadaladeniya, and Lankathilaka temples. Your scenic drive will include stops at Ramboda Waterfall and the Damro Tea Factory to learn about tea production. You will spend the evening settling into your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Wake up early for a trek through Horton Plains National Park, visiting the dramatic World’s End viewpoint and Baker’s Falls. In the afternoon, you will explore Nuwara Eliya, visiting a local strawberry farm, Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, and the town's colonial-era buildings. You will stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
You will take a famously scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to the mountain town of Ella. Here, you will hike Little Adam’s Peak and visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge and Ella Gap. Afterward, you will travel down to the southern region of Yala to check into your hotel for the night.
Your day begins with an exciting morning jeep safari in Yala National Park, where you can spot leopards, elephants, and diverse birdlife. You will then travel along the southern coast to the lively beach town of Mirissa. Spend your evening relaxing by the ocean before your overnight stay.
Start your morning early with a memorable whale and dolphin watching cruise off the coast of Mirissa. The rest of the day is entirely yours to relax on the sandy shores of Mirissa Beach, swim in the ocean, and enjoy fresh local seafood. You will spend another night at your hotel in Mirissa.
As you travel up the coast, you will visit the historic Galle Dutch Fort and the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery. You will also take a relaxing boat safari along the Madu River, which features a unique fish therapy experience. By the afternoon, you will arrive in Colombo to check into your hotel for the night.
Spend the day exploring Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital city. Your guided tour includes stops at the Colombo National Museum, Gangaramaya Temple, and the modern Lotus Tower. You will also visit Port City Beach, Galle Face Green, and the One Galle Face Mall before returning to your hotel for your final night.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel to wrap up your 14-day adventure. When it is time for your flight, your chauffeur will transfer you to the Colombo Airport and assist you with your departure.
